I Am A christian. For the longest time I've had a theory about Creationism and Evolution side by side. I Belive in both of them, My theory kinda goes like so...

"God Created everything and did so with the intent of letting Evolution take It's Course."

Or...

"God Created the whole Bible world, For some reason got rid of it then BAM. Our world and Big Bang happened."

The First one kinda disaggres with Itself. You cant go from
Adam and Eve then to Monkeys evolving...

The Latter Theroy Doesnt really add up either... It just doesnt make thatmuch sense to me.

Can you help me make sense of theese two theroies. Is there a Theroy already existing that aggres with either of mine?

Finally... What are your views on Creationism and Evolution side by Side

Evolution is just creation ongoing. As a christian I believe in both.

Evolution poses no threat to christianity.
Creation offends evolutionists as it infers that there is a God.
Evolution needn't bother creationists, as it neither refutes the concept of creation, nor does it even conflict with it.

I know many religions in the world that do not dispute evolution while at the same time embracing the idea that God created the universe. Evolution is usually viewed as the natural processes put in place by God or some other instance. My religion, Hinduism, is one such religion. It says that the universe manifested out of God (thus, in a manner of speaking, the universe itself is part of God rather than a seperate entity) and that the universe will grow and expand for some time and then begin to shrink and decline until it once again returns to God. Then the process starts over again. God creates the universe from Itself and then the universe and everything in it grows and expands (evolves) and then at some point begins to shrink and decline until it again dissolves and returns to God.

Most religions in the world: Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Taoism, Shinto, Paganism, Islam, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Unitarian-Universalism, some Christian denominations, and many others all have a view of Creationist-Evolution (a term I heard someone that attends the UU fellowship where my satsang meets used). The term basically means that they believe that the universe was created and that that includes evolution in some form or another.

I think that Religious Science (or Science of Mind) is a religion that would work with your theory. Take a look at the 10 Core Concepts - especially #3 about creativity. I think it would be supportive of your theory.

My views on Creationism and Evolution working side by side - are much like yours. It's all God. Actually I don't care how we got here. The big question is - "What are we supposed to do right now!!??"

God did create everything when he said he created the planet in seven days according to what someone once said was that one day to us was like a thousand days to god. So that could mean that it took seven thousand years for him to create the planet. So he created the planet by planting the basic seed and letting it evolve into what he knew it would be. Look at other planets that show that they have water like jupitor those too one day thousands of years from now could possibly support life too. God is brilliant and likes to see things grow or we would of been put here on earth as adults and not have grown between an egg and sperm. People don't realize everything that evolves does so cause that was gods plan. I think it's beautiful better then just snapping your finger and it being there overnight:)

Any Christian, who holds loyalty to Darwin's theory and claims belief in God, is attempting to serve "two masters" at the same time. You can not be a fence-sitter. You are either, part of the problem or part of the solution - which?

Why are you so blind to what an atheist is?! greater to the element in case you don't know what an atheist is why are you so illiberal, hate crammed, bigoted and persecuting in the direction of them?! ATHEIST - somebody who does not have confidence in a God – any God – not in basic terms the Christian one. yet that doesn't advise they don't carry good ethical or religious ideals! they are able to persist with any faith that doesn't have a god and there are various those! Like BUDDHISM – religious coaching from Buddha and his followers that by way of destroying greed, hatred and delusion (the rationalization for all suffering) guy can attain appropriate enlightenment! yet they are actually not the only ones who now the certainty and stay rather the Pope, Catholic Church, Church of england and mainstream church homes all settle for the great bang and evolution! Lord Carey the former Archbishop of Canterbury placed it o.k. – “Creationism is the fruit of a fundamentalist attitude to scripture, ignoring scholarship and serious gaining understanding of, and difficult diverse understandings of certainty”! advantageous that christians and atheists can agree and snicker jointly even however if it particularly is at fundie rate! yet in the back of the laughter is the melancholy on the fundamentalists striving so not undemanding to smash christianity by way of turning it from a faith to an ideology! Surveys advise that 29% of yank christians are so extremist of their ideals that they fall nicely outdoors of the traditional bounds of christianity! Please state which extremist sect you belong to so as that good christians can disassociate themselves from you and clarify why your sect is so at odds with Christianity! in basic terms yet another fundamentalist striving so not undemanding to smash christianity by way of turning it from a faith to an ideology!

"The evidence for evolution is so compelling that the only way to save
the creation theory is to assume that God deliberately planted
enormous quantities of evidence to make it look as if evolution had
happened." -- Richard Dawkins--

Yea....mine. Thru my experiment with psycheldelic substances, I have developed my own religion. All life is one Energy and time and the 'self' is illusion. Life is like seeds evolving from the smallest of life into supreme spiritual beings.
