The pub that I'm thinking of is NOT, actually, IN Doncaster, itself, - but, it's not that far away, - it's called "THE BALL", and, it's in BRAMLEY, - on the A631, - just off the M18 motorway!
The people are FANTASTIC, - and the pub has a VERY WELCOMING atmosphere! I'm normally, quite NERVOUS, when I visit new places, for the first time, but, - when I walked IN, there, for the FIRST TIME, in my LIFE, - I was made to feel as though I'd been a "REGULAR", in there, for YEARS! Mind YOU, I cannot escape the fact, that, my late grandfather was BORN, in the next VILLAGE, - and, I have retained HIS Yorkshire ACCENT, - so, it I was as though, I had, - at LAST, - gone "HOME", to my "ROOTS"!
I'll NEVER forget the place, - OR, the people! I loved EVERY MOMENT, that I was there!

SORRY but the only thing I know DONNY is that my dear old Dad and his family came from there.
