No, it wouldn't threaten Christianity in any way.
Why would God create an infinite universe and only put life here?

Nope, and I've often considered this question. The only thing it would do is bring up a whole lot of new questions, like, are aliens under the same terms of the fall of man? But God doesn't MAKE anyone worship Him. "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in...." He's not gonna bash it down. And God existed before He was worshipped, so there goes the theory of rules not applying to someone proving that God doesn't exist. God is. He always was. He always will be. HE is eternal, we will be everlasting. There's a difference.

Wouldn't change a single thing. We know what the Lord wants from us, why would that change because someone else came into the picture? I see His work clear as day in the world all around us. His word is happening everywhere, you need only open your eyes to what is really happening in the world.
The bible tells us that in the last days men would say "Ever since the fathers fell asleep, the world has continued as it was. There is no sign of His coming." and they would go do more evil and sinful things. In other words "Things have gone on just like they always have. It's been 2000 years and Jesus isn't back yet, get over it morons." You see those comments all over the place, it's simply the fulfillment of what the bible said would happen. There are dozens more. Send me an email if you want a list, you will see beyond doubt that He is doing just what He said.

God as something seperate from this world and us is a lost theory. Already existing proofs are enough to conclude that there are higher beings in this universe it can be gods or aliens and also it proves non-existence of single cause from which everything arised.

Before adressing directly the question I preface: The Bible is a razor of truth -- the slimmest edge of truth of two things Earth, and Man their connection, their condition, and their final conclusion. It says of it self that if all the books were written, that could be written, the world could not hold them all -- the will of God, expressed in the words of the Bible by the men he chose to inspire as his scribes is His choice of simplicity. Nonetheless, as short and to the point as it is considering its subject matter the human race still debates as he said they would.
Now, that being said the Bible and Jesus specifically indicated that his words were to address earthly things and things of mankind in respect to the establishment of the kingdom of God and that mankind was incapable of understanding and he did not intend to address heavenly things (i.e. sun, moon...aliens). This does not mean that something does not exist or that the existence of something outside of the context of the message of the Bible has any impact on the Bible or the expressed mind of God.
Jesus Christ said the in his Father's house there were many mansions and the earth was just a footstool in one of them. I believe the metaphor Jesus was giving is clear. That the earth and mankind on it is a small part of the realm of God just in his "house" or abode not including that outside of his house or his creation of abiding. When considered the entirity of creation is incomprehensible and Jesus was conveying this but stayed on subject of man and earth and the future to come. Because God pays the closest attention to detail, so much so that every hair on your head is known, and he outside of time views the passage of thousands of years as just days while finite humans succumb to what to them seems like eons.
In the end those who do not want to believe in a God have always found reasons and proofs, even before the concept of "aliens" was conceived and those who have had revelation of the truth of the word of God are not moved by anything they see or hear even unto the end of their lives as all the millions of deaths of the martyrs for the Christian faith attest too, from the times of the Roman arenas even unto the persecution today in fanatical fundamentalist states.
Addendum: One additional note, the references in the Bible to "sons of God" "taking of the women of men" becoming "fallen ones" and highlights on Nephilim (or serpent seed) in the Bible possibly point to a much more sinister reality of the past and present and future intent of "aliens".

I don't think Christianity would suffer although some narrow minded folks wouldn't like it. God is big enough to create lots of worlds and lots of different salvation scenarios for different planets. Doesn't shake my faith in God one bit. It actually means He is bigger than we thought.

Nope. The Bible doesn't mention the other planets either, that doesn't mean they don't exist.
Personally I'd invite the little green men in for a spot a tea and ask them if they know about Jesus.
Here's a cookie, oatmeal date, enjoy!

I think this is actually an interesting question. Ive actually been asked this before. In my opinion, I think Christianity would be okay, although probably significantly shaken (as would most religions). I have the mind to say it would be detremental to most world religions. Christianity would survive, we would try to convert them.

No, it wouldn't matter. Remember how the earth isn't flat, the sun doesnt revolve around the earth, animals evolve and were not created by one being. All this didn't matter so xtianity would survive.
