Faith without works is dead. That means we need to share our faith with others. We must let the world know about Jesus and His sacrifice for all mankind. Jesus commanded us to do it in the Great Commission just before HE accended into Heaven. So if you do not share your faith you should not even call yourself a Christian, because you are not doing what Jesus said to do.

I ask again. Do you actively share your faith in your every day life?

I have several ways to share my faith. It just happens that I was talking to other "Christians" and challenging them to do as the Bible tells us to do. If you get offended by the Word of God, that is between you and God. I refuse to sugar coat the Bible so people will like what they hear. Jesus Himself said that the gospel divides.

Jamie- I can talk to anyone about anything at work, as long as we are on break. If the boss fires a person for it, that is an illegal fire, and descrimination. Both grounds for a lwawsuit, so I would own your company.

Your testamony is all you need to witness to people, just tell what God has done for you.

I am always willing to sit down and listen to other people about their faith, but in return I expect the same from them.

If I were your boss and you did that at work I would fire you. If you did that at my childs school I would report you.

Reason? You have no respect for other people.

If that does not work for you, I suppose I could start preaching my beliefs to you, bringing my symbols of faith , texts and all that in to work and into the classroom.

Lets chat shall we?

Peace!

PS...just because someone doesn't hold the same belief as you does not mean they are not well versed in it.

You Christians can be such extremists! I am not offended at God , it's you!

My walk is an expression of my beliefs, my faith, unlike many Christians. I love talking about spirituality, I do not like people pushing me and insisting that its their way or the highway. Not how I experience God or the Divine!

Ours is a loving relationship.

Hi there! In reply. If it is disrupting the work place and causing problems that then becomes the greater issue. When you are at work you need to be at work. I don't care if you wear a cross, that is purely personal. I respect that. Quite lovely even. But, when you make it an issue by pressing the point to far then you would not be doing your job.

Take a look at the way you answered me. "I would own your company..."This is a power struggle for you. It is not about love or any of those things that are true and good.

This is about you pushing what you believe on other people. I want neutral ground so we can have harmony. That is not discrimination.

When a teacher puts a copy of the Bible on their desk in a public school, they are making a statement that is different that if they were just wearing a cross. If you as a Christian saw a copy of the Koran on that desk or a statue of Buddha and or a pentagram how would you honestly feel about that person teaching your child? Would you feel that was alright in the public school system. Be honest please.

Neutral ground. Peace. You do not want that. I do.

I accepted Christ as a young girl and lost sight for a long time. As an adult and having only been back a few short weeks it is difficult. I want to stand on a mountain and shout it to the world but I feel like a baby not knowledgable enough. The last thing I want to do is tell someone something wrongly even if it is with correct intention. But as I grow you bet! I'll be out there. However, I do say that I'm am a believer and I owe it to the Left Behind series so I tend to steer people to the books that worked for me.

I do not, but that may be because I am just coming to grips with my own faith...I have a skeptical nature, but I do have friends that are born again Christians, and I have started attending a bible study to learn more about the bible. I was raised a Roman Catholic, and still attend that church, although not as often as I should.

I do believe that if you believe in God, you should live like you believe in him. I know so many people that say they believe, but God is not a focal point in their life. I am guilty of this too, but it is behavior I would like to change and I think I am starting to.

I have observed that my born again Christian friends share their faith with others, they look for oportunities to do so. However, they do not push their views on others if those people seem not open to hearing them...but they do look for the opportunities to come again with those same people in hopes that they will open up to this.

Nope. I just do the best I can, and give straight answers to straight questions. I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe. However, just because I don't ACTIVELY share my beliefs, I try (and often fail) to act in a way that shows what I believe. And as to who does or doesn't have a right to be called a Christian, well the whole point is that NONE of us do, that's why it's called GRACE.

Ohhhhhhh, yes I do try...but people don't want to listen unless I go to the same service they do. But even most of them are in a hurry to get out of church. You know the kind....a one hour a week Christian.

Soooooooo, I read my Bible every single day, a few passages at a time, (so I can try and determine how it pertains to me that day). I look at reading the Bible as "What does God want me to discern today?" If I go in order of the books, then I don't get as much out of it; but if I cross reference from Old and New Testament, then it makes more sense.

But I am actively sharing my faith now. It's just difficult to do this here because there are lots of atheists who come in and badger Christians, looking to turn Christians against their belief. It's soooo sad.

To be honest, I don't. I do share my faith with others sometimes, though. I've shared the wordless book with others and once in a while, I talk to friends about my faith. But mostly I try to live like a Christian so that others may see Christ in me.

No, my faith if based in the old 'live & let live' creed. What works for me might not work for someone else. I don't like to be pressured into things so, I don't do that to other people. Some people might not want to hear what I think is right anyway so, I reduce the noise pollution in this world and keep my yap shut when it comes to religion & God.

I say again, I do not call myself a Christian. Labels suck, and this particular label sucks big time. I do not intend to demean the good work done by people with kind hearts, but one does not have to subscribe to this particular brand of myth to be a good human being. And your stern judgmental tone in your closing sentence, goes to show the problems in belief systems and those that consider themselves a cut above the rest, spiritually speaking. Although the irony here is, that it is not spiritual at all. Spirituality unites people, it is religion that divides them.
