One day I went to this pizzaria restaurant called Uncle Vinny's and I met this Italian guy who works there with his family, after he took my order at the register, he said "Thanks, doll." with his heavy Brooklyn accent. I thought it was sweet.

I feel like some would be, just the same as any other race, but I also feel as an American, that if we find them cute or attractive they're automatically charming in our eyes because of the Italian stereotype, and ya know, the accent doesn't help anything

Oh Lord! Italian men are just like other men. Some are romantic and some are not, some are sweet and some are jerks, some treat their women like queens and some like dirt, etc. I've been complimented by men from all sorts of nationalites, not only Italian. Plus, I don't think just because he said "thanks doll" really proves he's romantic.

I'm with you girl, but I think its all Latin guys. They are so hot and I think their accents make them hotter. They seem so charming and always make you feel so beautiful. But then, I'm wondering if they're so good at it because of all the women they say the same thing to.........

They are like any other men. Some of them I have found out to be smooth talkers. Don't worry about this. It sounds like he was just trying to be nice.

well it depends. I lived in France for 10 years and so I know alot of italians and they are sometimes very macho... however they still have that gentle/ romantic side to them. I hope you get to know your italiano guy better :)
