The Stern Business School is top flight. After all it's close enough to the one of the financial centers of the world - Wall Street. UPenn, Stanford, and Harvard have better business schools, regardless NYU still makes the top 10 biz schools in the country. As far as tuition, you are looking at $40,000 a year, if you want to dorm there. Since it's a top level school, needless to say the competition is fierce to get in.

I graduated from NYU in 2001. It's a highly respected school, and the MBA programs are fiercly competetive. Stern is the business school and is located at the southern end of Washington Square Park. It's a gorgeous area and there's nothing better than reading a good book under the trees in the square. I'm not sure what the requirements are, but mine was a 3.4. I would suggest going to the university website and looking up an administrator at Stern and giving that person a call. They can usually point you in the right direction. TRy this link, too. https://secure.stern.nyu.edu/mba/admissions_forms/fulltime/request/index.cgi

I dormed at Carlisle (Union Square Park West) and it was FABULOUS!!! My room was big and spacious and overlooked an inside courtyard. Whatever you do, DO NOT end up dorming at Wiensenstein (I think that was the name)! It's similar to a jail on the inside with cinder block walls. It's on University Place just north of Washington Square Park.

I utilized to NYU besides. They replaced their admissions the previous year and now not require 2 SAT II tests. in basic terms the ACT or SAT (i've got confidence that as quickly as in basic terms submitting the SAT you ought to take 2 SAT II tests or 2 AP tests) inspite of the undeniable fact that, in case you nevertheless choose to touch Admissions, in basic terms call them and ask. that's what they are there for.
