awww! your dog is such a cutie. but by the way, you cannot get a dog until it is 8 weeks old. 4 weeks is way too young to get a pomeranian. a mutt puppy is the same as a purebreed. adopt one from the animal shelter, one that really needs a good home.

4 to 8 weeks old is way TOO young to take a puppy away from it's mother!!! They are not even weaned at that age!!!
Also there is no such thing as a toy or teacup Pomeranian or any of the other small breeds. Any pup smaller than what is called for in the standard is going to have health issues because of the diminutive size.

YOU CAN'T GET A PUPPY AT 4 WEEKS THEY AREN'T WEANED YET AND 8 WEEKS WOULD BE THE EARLIEST IF YOU WANT A GOOD DOG FOR THE FUTURE. OTHERWISE, LOOK ON PETFINDER.COM THE HAVE THE BEST PLACE TO FIND A DOG. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU SAY "TOY" BECAUSE BREEDERS SAY TOY AND PUT A HIGHER PRICE TAG JUST CUZ THEY CAN. WHAT EVER YOU DO DON'T BUY ONE FROM A PET STORE. VISIT WWW.STOPPUPPYMILLS.COM AND YOU'LL SEE WHY.

Well you shouldn't get any dog that is less than 6 weeks old. Best at 8 weeks. If you were to get a 4 week old puppy, you are going to have a screwed up dog. That is WAY too young to be taken away from its mother.
They keep learning how to be a DOG from its mother until about 8 weeks, and 4 weeks I believe they are still getting milk from their mothers.

Won't be able to find any decent dogs that are between 4 and 8 weeks of age. No self respecting
breeder would allow their puppies to go to homes til
at very least 8 or 9 weeks of age.

It's illegal in most states to buy or sell a puppy before 8 weeks. In some states it's 10 weeks.

I wouldn't buy one off the internet-(you don't want a puppy mill baby)--maybe try an find one local-so you can see and interact with it before you buy! I start feeding my Dobie pups at 4/5 weeks old, because the mom's start weaning them(sharp baby teeth and claws)--they are bottomless pits by 6 weeks--ready for new homes!!

its a good idea to ask your vet, they know the health of the animals used for breeding. otherwise try your last dogs breeder or looking in a dog magazine for breeders, you want to see the parents and the dogs littermates.
