I think some people really go too far when they're answering other people's questions. Like this one person suggested I feed my daughter weed to get her to eat. I mean, that's beyond a prank, I'm sorry. I wish I had the opportunity to delete the person. But Yahoo! doesn't allow it. You can report it as abuse but most of the time nothing happens. Do you agree? Freedom of speech is one thing. But when people are just out to be mean and nasty, I think they should not be able to keep their comments on my question.

I agree... would be nice to be able to keep some sort of 'ownership' of your own questions! And for that matter.. it doesn't seem like anyone ever looks at some of the inappropriate questions that are asked either :( Would be nice to know if anyone ever actually deletes the offensive stuff.

I agree that a lot of the answers are cruel and abusive, but this is an open forum. Unless the answer is totally out there an is beyond objectionable they will not delete it.
As it's an open forum you get the good with the bad. I hope that with that bad, very bad advice you got some good advice. It's sort of like life, you ask a question and will get a lot of answers. some will make sense and some will seem stupid to you. Maybe this person was being honest with you and it is what they did and it may actually work. You may not believe in the uses of pot for medicinal uses, but it does in fact have many great uses. No,, I am not saying give it to the baby, that is not one of the things I have heard of, but I do know that without it a lot of people would really be suffering, so I can't put down someone who may have tried it and had it work. You were given some advice, it isn't for you, ignore that one and go onto the ones that make more sense to you. I think that's the great thing about this forum. I've gotten some really dumb answers that have left me scratching my head wondering if the people really read my question or they just wanted to spout out, but then the next answer was right on. Use this spot to get what you can and remember the most important thing, freedom of speech. You don't want someone to just take your answer off because they just don't like it. Everyone should have a say.

You have to ignore some of the answers. You can report the abuse, and they delete the answers/questions. This is an open forum and you will get all types of responses. Just take the good and disregard the rest. There are may answers I would like to delete, especially when it comes to race. You just can't control what goes on here.

i'm not sure this person you speak of was being either mean or nasty--marijuana use does seem to stimulate many people's appetite.

On the other hand, by joining in such a public forum as Yahoo, one would think you'd be prepared for answers which do not satisfy your particular need. Also, why should it be you who decides what should stay and what should go?

Don't know why questions can't be deleted, but you can always just ignore the answer you don't like.

Yes they should be able to make what ever comment they want. You are asking for a question from random people so you should expect what ever opinions you get. If you don't want this then don't ask questions from random people.

I could not agree with you more. But, consider where you're at and who you're dealing with-America's "finest". (You do realize, of course, I mean that with disdain and scorn). Some people have something to say and some people hhhave to say something- no matter how anal it is.

Rate the answer as thumbs down. Pisses me off too! Shallow answers come shallow minds.
