Never brag. What you are doing is appropriate for your age.

You are learning a valuable lesson, independence, which is a great thing. You are also learning about money and the advantages and disadvantages of having and not having it. Most things earned are appreciated so much more. I believe that if there were more jobs for teenagers, then we would have a lot less social problems. As far as bragging, tread lightly in that regard. Don't always let everyone know what you are doing, all don't have your best interest at heart (not being mean, but real). God Bless.

It is a great thing if you can Handel a job and school. If your school work starts to suffer then let the job go.

My son worked from the time he turned 16 he is 22 now. He was able to move out on his own at the age of 18, finished his last year of high school with his own place. He has all the money he needs. I am very proud of him he uses his money wisely and never comes to us for help. Not that we wouldn't,
He has just been able to handel it on his own.

I have a lot of respect for him as you can see. And I tell you what nothing makes a parent prouder.

Gaining social and financial independence is important at your age. So is adding something to your resume. Showing you were a self starter and motivated at age 16 will bring far more to your future than you can imagine. A detail like tutoring at 16 could set you above the pack when you are competing for jobs in the future.

GL and good on ya ;)

well it would teach you that you get paid for your work performed. it would teach you how hard is it to work for your paycheck. it would teach you what you would have to study to make more money or less if you want.

good luck!
