I hate it and because Nascar is completely ran by Money I see the only way to defeat the car of tomorrow is to boycott it. It won't stick around if it's not making money. That's why teams switch drivers all the time. No money, no car of tomorrow, no problem. Follow your driver on Nascar.com after the race. Don't give them the ratings. Who's with me?

yeah, I am with you because I fear that in the future the cars are gonna be so restricted that teams will not have cars. They will have to lease them from nascar. Get rid of nextel too. Never should have lost the name winston. I miss the nobull races.

I like the COT here's why. Car specs. are are tightened up where the bodies absolutely have to pass more templates than they ever have. The motor, driver and car setup throughout the race will determine the winner. No more cheated up wind tunnel bodies, goofy pushed out front fenders and the shrinking greenhouses.
Tony had Bristol in the bag if it hadn't been for the drive cable to the fuel pump. Up to now only one car had a legal body anyway. Now the Cot's are all four door models with a fake two door post

the car of tomorrow is a ploy by nascar to try and boost the ratings cause they are a commercialized whore... all they car about is how many people watch the races on tv because they can make more money on commercials... the races have been selling out for how many years?? im sick of hearing its for "safety" because their hasnt been anybody seriously injured since senior. so basically they wa nt everybody to talk about it so more people will watch it on tv and they can make more money off of commercials... how long have they been testing the car of tomorrow? acouple of years?? and its still a piece of garbage the racers say... put the materials that are in the door panels that make it "safer" in the regular cars and leave em alone...

Boycott all you want. The COT is not going away. Next year all the races will use this car. Then, I guess you will have to go watch F1 or women's tennis.

NASCAR owns NASCAR.COM. If you are going to boycott then do it 100%. Also, some races, like Bristol have waiting lists for tickets. Go ahead and boycott, give up your tickets. There are people who have been waiting for years to get a hold of them.

But a new car,a new chance to try something intovative and find a new way for Hendricks to cheat.
One race does not make the season, get the car on the superspeedway.
Personally I don't give a rat's patoot for it but I do like the saftey issues it addresses.
Thats all I have to say about that.

I agree. It looks too much like a trans-am/half truck half car creature. It is obvious that NASCAR did not do enough research on this thing as evident by all of the cut tires that were caused by that stupid splitter. Go back to racing real stock cars.

nascar ratings are on the down fall aready. TV rating have took a big hit over the past couple years and this year the ratings at the tracks have gone down some but the Busch seris rating and trucks are going up. I dont like Brain France he is making me hate NEXTEL CUP. I wish Winston would have never left.

I am actually watching Nascar again because of the COT... Fun to see something different and watch all the teams try to figure out the new car.

On a side note, how much of a little girl is kyle busch... he wins the race and then cries about the car? I wish Burton had wrecked the little baby

get some funds a manner or the different and connect a nearby kart club. in case you may lay down some sturdy effects (like win club championships) you additionally could make human beings attentive to you, collect some sponsorship and build from there. purely a step on the time, no-one is commencing actual away in f1/indy/nascar.
