i only took 2 10mg of prozac, that didnt agree with me. waited a couple days then took 1 effexor xr, that didnt agree with me either.

i waited a few days and took my paxil cr (all under doctors orders) paxil cr works the best for me.

is that ok?

This is strange, first because one does not usually discontinue an SSRI after just a couple of days- as the poster above indicates. Second, Prozac and Paxil are both SSRIs, one having a much longer half-life, and the other havig a distinctly shorter one. I would think that as for side effects, if Prozac caused nasty ones, Paxil would be worse. Doctors aren't always right of course, but if you believe Paxil is o.k., (it has not had negative side effects)- then I should say it's just fine.....

you didn't state what side effect you got with prozac and effexor. I find it hard to believe that after taking one paxil cr, you had an effect. Usually you have to take these types of meds for like a week to get the desired effect.

i'm on Effexor. I even have tried many and that's the only one that works fairly properly for me. over the years, many meds positioned on off and additionally you do no longer sense besides as you probably did once you first began taking them. provide it a shot. If Effexor does not paintings, attempt yet another till you get it actual.
