Islam is not a hard religion.. And God is merciful.. There is a reason why God said to not eat pork. or other dirty meats.. (Even its in the bible, but Christians seem to overlook that little law).. God tells us that if in need, we can.. So if there is nothing left to eat and a pig strolls by, we can eat it to survice, out of necessity, but otherwise no... God will not fault us for that... ... And you have no idea what your talking about the whole 72virgin issue... duh!... people take things out of context so awfully bad its terribly embarrassing to them. .. Heaven and everything in it, is of a different level of existance and life as we know it here on earth.. the Virgins you talk of, arent like girls here you think of.. If you knew arabic and the subtleness of arabic language.. the word means a pure being untouched by anything.. they will be servants to everyone who enters heaven... male and female muslims alike who enter heaven.. It doesnt mean little girls here who havent had sex yet... These earthly desires we have here are not like the emotions we will have in heaven.. So please dont go quoting things you know nothing about..

Good question. Will Jews eat non Kosher if their life depended on it and it was offered to them if they were found starving and thirsty....? I'm sure God meant religious differences to be a test of our own acceptance of how different, but also how much the same we all are. We all need air, food, and water to live, human life is very fragile. We all have views and beliefs, but when it comes down to it, would a starving person refuse food because it was unreligious to them?

Excellent question, but if I had hangups about a certain religion, I would not let that stop me from accepting help in dire circumstances, regardless of who offered the help to me. Maybe it would lighten up the attitude about seeing each other as fellow humans.

Well, in order to survive, not only Muslims will eat it. Its human instinct. I bet you will eat them too if you're in such a situation.

Muslims and Islam is just a label of religious ideology. The real fact that make a Muslim 'Muslim' is because of humanity. The same goes for Christians, Hindus, Jews and Buddhists (and other religions).

why not? although i cannot say from a religous point of view, i can say that one will do what is necessary to survive.

if one makes a meal of pork and does not tell the other what it is and they both eat, which one has sinned? one or both?

philosphical questions are always so hard, until you analyse them.

In case of emergency Islam offers "Ruhsa", a "way-out" and in a matter of life and death a Muslim is allowed to abide shariah rules in order to survive.

Personally, I would rather chew grass than eat pork or dog meat.

I work with Muslims and you probably don't realize that they fast for a month once a year. You are uneducated about the Muslim religion.

If they will starve otherwise, Muslims are allowed to eat pork or dog. Otherwise, they are never allowed.
