it is something i really want, because the world would be a better place. several places in the bible, it says that if i ask god for what i want, he will give it to me. now, on several occasions i have in fact sat down and asked god for something that i truely think would be best for all parties involved. but i didnt get it. explain, remembering please that it does say in several places that if i ask, i shall recieve, if i ask it in god's name.

i do good in my life. i never go out seeking to do anything bad. i apologize if i do accidentally do something bad. i have personal peace, i am VERY happy with every bit of my life right now. besides, if there is supposed to be a war before there is peace, why wasnt there peace after all the other wars that went on already?

Well, first up it has nothing to do with you. The bible dies say at multiple points ask and you shall recieve this isn't however an absolute (If I asked for robot dinosaurs to invade my school that's not likely to happen).

While world peace is a noble goal, te actual implications of it go against the very nature of God. Because he loves us, he gives us choice. World peace takes away that choice by making it impossible to do the wrong thing.

If we were only capable of doing what was right that would not make us good and moral creatures, in fact it would only take the possibility of that away. God doesn't want anything bad happening to you, or anyone, but he is not willing to take on the role of an all controlling dictator to prevent it.
