I'm looking at a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 at a lot in town. It is a Quad Cab with the 4.7l V8 engine. Anyone know what the tow rating is?

7250 if its the 4x4
7750 if its a 4x2

my 2002 ram 1500 with a 5.9 v8 can tow 8k so probably just a little less than that it also depends if you have the optional towing package mine does

I don't know what the towing rate is but I know it tows alot! I just wanted 2 answer this question, sry if i didn't help u. LOL!

not as much as a 3500. itwill probably tow up to 5000 pounds. but i wouldnt recomend doing this all the time. youll burn up the tranny very quick

if you go to your local Uhaul place, they normally can tell you what they can haul, they have a book they look it up in. I am sure it can haul at least 5k, if not more. my hubby has a suv, andit does 3500
