I read the answers to your past questions, and it was an eye opener. First of all, I didn't see any rude remarks, but only TRUE good advice. Yes, people recommended that you neuter your dog, but that isn't a rude or mean or negative response, but only their true feelings..Bob Barker says it every day, as do Humane Society ads.
Next, I looked at your former questions from last week. .You seem to have a hyper-active, unmanageable pup. Anyone who breeds their female will want a smart and trainable sire for their litter. You can't seem to get him housetrained, although he is 6 months old. He is climbing the walls and won't listen to you..That is a sire to steer clear of..He will produce puppies that behave the same.
And, to top it off, you are breaking the community guidelines by posting a personal ad on this forum.
So, if people were actually being negative, they would have reported you for violation of TOS and the question would have been removed..
There are 17 million users of Y! Answers in USA alone! So, it is hard to get only the answers that you want from such a large community.

As far as the Breeding deal goes, all I can say is when I think of a Dog having Puppies or anyone breeding, especially someone that does so without following the rules of propriety it concerns me.
If I breed my Female German Shepherd with my Male, I want to already have found some people that want such a dog. My biggest concern is that I would want each Puppy to have an owner and home like I am and I provide and those of us that are responsible Dog owners and Breeders understand this.
However; since I read the Classifieds and see how many German Shepherds are available as well as other breeds for sale, then I alos look at the unwanted "Give-Away" dogs and consider the ones at the Animal Shelter, I choose and have chosen not to breed my Female and am having her Spayed.
There are too many unwanted dogs in the world, and people whom want to breed cause they think "it would be so cute or neat for our dogs to make a litter" and have such a mentality don't consider how many of those Pups will end up dead, mistreated, abused, neglected, or get lost among the many unwanted dog populations in this country. Too many people think of Dogs as things that can be thrown away or abandoned.
AS FAR AS THE MEAN AND NEGATIVE PEOPLE IN Y-Q&A:
All I can say is people feel real brave and act tactless behind a Screen Name and feel "Untouchable". More than not, none of these people would have the guts to talk to someone like they do in here face-to-face. They are Cowards, and gutless hateful people that feel empowered only because they believe there is no consequences on the Internet.
It's a stigma that is all too common, and, it's an embarrassment to say on one hand that the U.S. is the Greatest Country in the world and then have so many people act with disregard of others. So many countries laugh at us and shake their heads because of the moral degradation that people enjoy displaying.
We don't only need to address Dog Breeding as an issue and one that should be considered with great responsibility, but, Human Re-Production in this country should be an issue as well.
Too many people like to pro-create, but, many don't have the slightest idea on how to mold a decent person and the result of such is demonstrated right here in Yahoo.
The Dog breeding problem is a reflection of the Human problem.
Anyone can be mean and show their as s, but, it takes a responsible and thoughtful person to act with integrity and treat others with dignity. A lot of people that could care less, and they are contributing to what has become an ugly and hostile world.
I hope there is a Bacteria that comes out someday that attacks ignorance and has the same lethal affect as AIDS. Maybe only then, that's when we will have a peaceful world again. Of course I'm speaking in semantics, but, you catch my drift, ......at least those of you that are sick of the online Cowards and Rambos.

Is it possible that you posted the question assuming people would affirm your thoughts, and then when they actually tried
to be helpful, you saw it as negative simply because they disagreed with you?
You should probably not breed your dog. You should probably leave that up to people who know what they are doing. Is there a shortage of Yorkies? No. They are one of the most popular breeds. I have a champion prospect of an extremely rare breed of dog, and even so, I am not needed in order to carry on the breed. I am happy to leave that up to the existing very fine breeders, such as the one my dog came from.
The world is overrun with those annoying little Yorkies, and you can only contribute to that problem. The other Yorkie-lovers out there have a huge supply to choose from, including puppy mills and other abusive situations, like private owners who may mean well, but don't have the resources to and know-how to be breeders. Seriously, you wouldn't be "helping" anyone with more "cute pups". Call your breeder and ask if they have a shortage of cute pups. I seriously doubt it.
This is not a person we're talkin about here - being cute has nothing to do with it, and you are fully aware of how to fix your dog's need to "well u know, lol"... and there's no reason why not to do it. He will be soooo much happier... you have no idea.
I suspect people were just trying to be helpful and you didn't like their advice. The more right they are, the more upset you probably are too. People don't like to be disagreed with, but one of the best things you can do with your life is learn to listen to and consider the opinions of others, and to re-think your own opinion when new facts come to light. So again, people are not being 'negative'... they are simply disagreeing with you.
And you know... it's not about dogs being killed in shelters. That would happen anyway because people in general, are irresponsible. It's about doing something totally unnecessary and possible abusing an animal in the process. Most people who think they're going to "breed" their animals have no idea what they are doing, end up creating a litter of unhealthy runts, and typically end up spending more money than they make.
There is no need for more puppies, and you are doing your dog a huge disservice by leaving his junk intact. Seriously, it drives them nuts... the smell of doggie estrogen is everywhere in the environment and it lingers for months, so any neighborhood with other dogs in it, is going to send your un-fixed dog's head spinning. Literally, it's mental torture.
Is that 'negative' enough for ya?

You know what, I think you just don’t GET it, your as thick as a brick! People are negative towards breeding dogs BECAUSE each year millions of dogs are put down because they don’t have a home! As a dog owner you and everyone else who owns a dog is RESPONSIBLE to not brining anymore unwanted or wanted dogs into this world, and let those dogs in shelters stand a chance. You have obviously NEVER been to a shelter have you? I SUGGEST you go! I’ve been there a couple times, and each time cant help but cry, there are so many middle aged dogs and yes PUPPIES too there, and they all want a loving home. However guess what majority of them will never get it, because there are just TOO many dogs out there that need a home.
This video is just and example of how big this issue really is

The reason people are so negative about dog breeding is because millions of dogs are euthanized in this country every year because they are unwanted. People get puppies and don't think about the commitment a dog requires. It's not just mixed breeds who go to shelters unwanted alot of purebreds end up in shelters. Thats why people were being so negative. Go to your local animal shelter and see the dogs and you will understand it will break your heart.

It's just that some of us have seen healthy, wonderful, delightful, friendly dogs die because there aren't enough homes for them. I have seen dead dogs lying on the table after they were put to sleep. They weren't sick or old. They were unwanted.
Every home that is filled with a puppy you let your dog have means there's another animal in a shelter who cannot go to that home and who will probably end up like the millions of animals that die through no fault of their own every year.
It's hard to be positive about breeding when you have these pictures in your head of friendly, lovable, dear animals who are dead now because a lot of people choose not to spay and neuter and who breed just for fun.
Visit your local animal control and check the disposition dates on every animal there before you breed your dog. A lot of them are purebreds! That date on the card on the animal's cage is the date that animal is scheduled to die. The people who do that awful job try to make it as gentle as possible in most cases, but they know there is only so much space, only so many resources, only so many homes, and there are worse things than death. Staying in a kennel for life is worse than death.
The most vivid memory in my head is of a Great Pyrenees laying on a steel table, dead. A week before he was brought into the shelter, sweet, frightened, lonely, gluing himself to anyone who would spend time with him. The next time I saw him he was laying dead on a table because he didn't get adopted.
I also remember a litter of black kittens being carried out to be euthanized because their time was up. Little adorable, sweet kittens. I remember their faces. It's hard to be positive about breeding for fun. I remember the siamese kittens. I remember the black and white and the yellow kittens. They're not alive now.
I remember a young man who worked at the shelter petting a dog day after day for the week the dog was there, then trying so hard not to cry the day the dog was put down. It broke everyone's heart.
But when you work with animals often you end up with a full house. I can't adopt any more or I won't be able to care properly for all of them.
We cry a lot. It frustrates us greatly to know that people are still breeding just for fun when so many great animals are dying just because someone didn't think about that when they let their dog have a litter of puppies.
Is it fair to be responsible for bringing more animals into the world just so your dog can have sex? Have him neutered, enjoy a longer life with him, and let the animals already alive go into the home his puppies would go into.
Yes, I suppose sometimes everyone should be negative.

Well maybe because we are trying to keep another person who has no business breeding dogs from breeding. You may think your dog is cute and it just might be registered but that does not make it breed quality and my guess (because of the fact you are looking for a b*tch here) is that you have done no health screenings or genetic testing. What makes it breed quality and why produce more junk puppies?
Great just what the world needs another BYB. I hope this is positive enough for you.
BTW it is against YA policy to advertise or solicit here.

You're right, they should find a nicer way of getting their feelings across. I do understand what they are going through though. Most of them probably work at shelters or have seen a lot of dogs that are adoptable but we're put down because there are so many dogs in the world now and nobody to adopt them. They take it to heart. You have to put yourself in their shoes, if you had to watch a good dog get put down when there was nothing wrong with it, you'd probably be more passionate too.
Wow, if you can do it after watching that 2nd video that Lisa had.........damn................

It is the way of this world. Not many people have peace in their hearts and minds and most of them have suffered great tragedy.
Just love them and let them know it. It will change some, heal some, and scare the rest away.

99 % of the shelter dogs are mixed breed. Those who breed pure bred dogs place more dogs in lifetime homes than all the animals shelters in the world. Not every dog is adoptable.
