I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints(Mormon/LDS). I know without the atonement of Jesus Christ I could never receive eternal life or exaltation. He is my Lord and Savior, Redeemer and Mediator.

Jesus Christ is the corner stone of my religion. Without Him I have no religion.

They say things like "Mormons worship a different Jesus", "Mormons don't worship the Jesus of the Bible", things like that.

But, it's just that we worship the same Jesus they do, we just don't see Him the same way they do. But, they either feel threatened by that, or scared o something. They have to exclude all who don't believe exactly like they do. Which is rather strange when you think about it, because they all exclude each other for various reasons, yet, the ONLY time (and they do not see this themselves) the ONLY time they come together, is to fight against evil Mormonism.

Let me ask you this: Do you believe that belief Jesus is all you need for salvation? What do you believe about Jesus Christ? Do you believe in His deity? Is the Bible the only book you need to study? Or could you not do without the book of Mormon? Do you follow the beliefs of a religious leader with faults, or do you follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, who was perfect? Does your religion do anything to change your life?

There are basically 3 issues here: Incarnation, Revelation, and Regeneration.

Incarnation: Is Jesus Christ God Almighty who came in the flesh?

Revelation: Do you believe in the Bible, and the Bible alone?

Regeneration: What kind of life did Joseph Smith live, and how has the mormon religion changed your life for the better? The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if any man be in Christ, HE IS A NEW CREATURE"

Because they believe hearsay or things like plural marriage that require faith to understand as it does in the bible.

What I dont understand is in the bible it speaks of the rules of plural marriage in Solomon and many other parts of the bible.

There are even far more screwed up things in the bible like when Abrahams daughters got him drunk and conceived to save his seed. That is insest and that is worse that plural marriage and was approved by God.

The fact of the matter is that it requires faith and relying on the spirit to know what is true and what isn't.

Why do people believe the bible if it speaks of plural marriage and insest? Should we do away with that book or seek it out through the spirit?

The fact of the matter is if we call areselves Christians then we are always seeking truth and not being judgemental and rely on God for the answers. Regardless of sect.

Could it be the president of the LDS church saying that the God of Mormonism is not that of the Bible? That is truth in advertising!
There is a counterfeit Jesus and gospel talked about in the Bible.

One guy says something, and it changes from him to the next, ALIAS The RUMOR MILL!
And before you know it. Everybody talks like they are an expert on the subject and don't know SH1T!
Like it was pointed out the other night. Heresy, is a form of the word heresay!

True Christians don't worship Christ. They worship Jesus' God and Father, Jehovah. (Ps. 83:18) When offered all the kingdoms of the world if he would perform just one “act of worship” to Satan, Jesus refused, declaring: “It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.” (Luke 4:7, 8) From Jesus’ words and actions, it is clear that only Jehovah God is to be worshiped.

Because they listen to rumors and make stuff up instead of actually studying the Mormon religion.

The problem is, your description of the person of Jesus Christ, and his divinity, does not match up with the accepted Christian description.

You must be mistaking your christ for the real one.

based on the name of your group i assume that you worship Christ also.

i think the problem lies on your introduction of your 'books'. you have your own version of Bible, right? and accept only the other versions as long as it fits your beliefs. please correct me if im wrong.
