Let it go for now.
Maybe he will come around in time.

Stay as friends. I like to think that friendships should be the basis of all relationships. Loving someone doesn't have to mean saying "I love you" all the time. You should try loving him as a friend first. It hurts of course, but only in the beginning. But fast forward to X no. of years later and if you can still both of you as good friends, laughing at this little episode, and you will probably be happy that you are still friends afterall. And who knows, the friendship may bloom and grow into a steady relationship.
I like to think that friendship means keeping the door open. But if you choose to let go, then this door will be forever closed. Even if it is re-opened at a later time, it may become a stigma between you two and it will take doubly hard effort just to overcome this episode.

This is a tough situation at best. First of all, if you are broken up and are now friends, don't let yourself become a friend with "benefits" You know what I mean. You need to put your new and different relationship into a new prospective. And keeping it non-physical is vitally important.
You see, this is a time for you about important life lessons. The downside is that this isn't a dress rehearsal. So save yourself more heartbreak and see this new friendship as a valuable lesson in life.
Best of luck and God bless you

Well, you could stop talking to him if it hurts so much. Or you could tell him how you feel.
It sounds like you broke up b/c he wasn't ready for a relationship, which means he wants to keep playing for a while. Move on.

Yes. Stay friends for now. Since he still loves you, the two of you will reunite as a couple soon. Those feelings are hard to keep at bay.
It's bound to happen. You can relax and just wait til the moment is right. It should be soon.

The same thing happened to me and my boyfriend. What we did is spend some time a part but not officially call it a break up cause we love each other that much. (we called it a break) in order to get to know ourselves. Then a few months later he gave me a call and I asked if he wanted to start dating and I said Hellz yea!

aww this situation is too sad. I think that you both need to reassess your feelings toward each other and maybe still have a relationship on terms you both are comfortable with. If you love each other isn't it worth it to work things out?
