The Bible talks about the Book of Life in Revelations. New Age enthusiast talk about the Akashic Records. Are they one in the same?

Could this be what the writer of Hebrews is refering to in Chapter 10:5 "But in those sacrafices there is a remembrance again made of sin. . . when he come into the world he saith, Sacrafice and offering you would not, but a body have you prepared me. . .then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me) to do thy will, Oh God. . ."

The Bible supports the fact that there is a record of every action taken and every word spoken.

The Book of Life, however, is held in possession of the living word and is not available even to prophets who have, are given access to, or can enter illegally other sources. The Scriptures you mention do not reference anything like the Akashic Records; but they are the record of one book which containes a special universal record of the children of light..

What you might consider similar in the Bible to the Akashic Records are references to the fact that every hair on your head is numbered, that not a sparrow falls that God does not see or that God is said to have known the nature of many people before they were born.

Additionally, Scripture refers to the Room of the Prophet; and there is a place where we see prophets enter into trance, vision and automatic writing. They also listen to the actual recordings of conversations being made to the record in real time.

Scripture indicates that men will be judged by their own words. To put it another way you are judged by your own reruns. So I would say there is something akin to the Akashic Record or very similar. And, thank God, based on the Scriputre you quoted, there is every reason to believe that God shows mercy to those that show mercy and can and does edit the record. I don't know about you, but I have no desire to watch or listen to reruns of my enire life.

Finally the Bible is a very detailed record of spiritual and material events from the foundation of the world; showing both past, present and future. A really amazing record if you know how to read it and/or have the spirit of prophecy.

I have had access to one Casey compound for skin and it was awesome. It was a systemic action formula before its time.

...If it's not in "The Book", it's "extrabibical" and should be looked at cautiously... Jesus, dying on the Cross, made a very, very declarative statement... He said... "It is finished" !
Check out Proverbs chapter 30 vs. 5&6 and Revelation chapter 22 vs.18 & 19.
