Adam and Eve had three sons, Cain, Abel and Seth. The daughters (if any and I have to assume that they did have daughters as well) were not mentioned. In the day of the writings (Genesis), daughters were not considered to be important because it was the man that carried the seed from one generation to the next. Today we know differently of course. But then, it was definately a mans world.

This is a very interesting question because it has a very interestin answer. After Eve ate from the tree of knowledge, a part of her punishment was to "become the mother of all the living." So, she gave birth to Cain and Abel. The bible talks about Cain having a wife, which was probably one of Eve's children (if she was supposed to give birth to all man kind...). Then, after Cain kills Abel, Adam and Eve have another son named Seth. But,all of those children had children, and the Bible even states that Adam lived for 930 years and that he was having children up untill his death... So to answer your question, Adam and Eve had a ---- load of kids...

CAIN
ABEL
SETH

NOW, IN GENESIS 4:4....it becomes a bit hazey to me, because I do not understand if it means that Adam begat more children, or if they were speaking of his son; Seth?

Look here:

Genesis 4:3-4

"(3)And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years and begat a son in his own likeness; after his own image, and called his name SETH. (4) And the days of Adam after he had begot Seth were eight hundred years; and he begat sons and daughters."

Now, Im convicted in my spirit that the truth is; we simply cannot know just how many more came out of their UNION.....and when you look at the context of 4:1-5, you see that it is soley talking about Adam, his lifespan and his offspring......sooooooo~when it said "...and he begat sons and daughters"....it is not documented how many more where born, but I would dare to guess, in knowing the history.....that the LORD's command was to ":be fruitful and multiply"...so, perhaps we must be content KNOWING that we simply cannot know.....there were probably quite a few.

GOD BLESS YOU GREATLY!

Since Adam & Eve Were the first man and woman then we are all descendants of them . That's a lot (no pun) of offspring.

The Bible doesn't tell us but it seems there must have been lots of them because the Bible says Eve was the mother of all living and she and Adam lived many many years.

If Adam & Eve lived to 800 yrs. being fruitful And multiplying, they could have had one or more a year as in twins or triplets. plus their offspring multiplying. my guess would be in the millions.
