No. The Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) through the Angel Gibrail in stages over the course of 23 years. The first revelation was revealed to Prophet Muhammad during the month of Ramadhan which reads :
"Read in the name of your Lord who created, created man from a clot. Read, for your Lord is most Generous, Who teaches by means of the pen, teaches man what he does not know." (96:1-5)
The last revelation was the third verse of Surah Al-Maidah, which was sent down to the Prophet in 632CE which means "Today I perfected your religion for you and completed my favor to you and have chosen for you Al-Islam as your religion." (5:3)

No, i may not be 100% correct here but the belief is that the verses and words were told to the Prophet Muhammed by an angel. He was chosen as the messenger of god and forced to resite these words. When he did, he felt truly enlightened and inspired and went on to teach and spread the teachings of Islam.

Yeah, hah ha hah ha hah. Ptolemaic pontification. What's that mean? Oh, sorry. Mumbo jumbo. Allah is great. Allah is kind. Allah is merciful. Allah is psycho and advocates decapitation and mutilation of the upper extremities. Not to mention what he has in mind for all those virgins and suicide bombers for that match made in heaven. Silly, silly fools.

No, it is the writings of a false prophet, using some of the writings of the disciples and history. He is a self made prophet and a destroyer. He compiled it about 800AD and was based primarily on his own desires and his own way of life. Which was pretty pitiful.
