ok so i really like this guy and we've been talking for a while now, and i think that its about time we moved to the next step of our relationship, but he seems a little scared to make the first move. Should I make the first move or will i look trashy? Or just give him more time

No. You will not look trashy.
Some guys a really really shy and pray that the girl makes the first move.
You won't look trashy because the two of you have known each other for awhile.
Now if you grabbed a guy and kissed him the first or second time you met him, yeah, that might mar your reputation but that's not the case here.
Kiss him!

it's never bad when a girl makes the first move it's just no one is use to it going that way because usually the girls take control and the guys have to be the one to ask the girl out and stuff but it doesn't have to be that way truth is guys do like it when girls make the first move so go ahead and try it there's nothing wrong with that

are you going out with him? if you are then go ahead and make the move but if not it's best to wait a little while just to make sure he's comfortable. making the first move won't make you look trashy, but make it to soon and the guy's gone for good.

no you won't look trashy come on guys love it when you take charge that way they don't have to and perhaps get turned down. Guys are so scared of being turned down. Just don't take charge in a trashy sort of way.

It depends on what the next "move" is. If you were just talking at first, and you try to kiss him or something then thats fine, and actually prefered by myself. I doubt your going to be the town slut over kissing a guy.

I'd say make a move...Sometimes it's a big turn on for guys when girls take the reins you know....Try it and if he doesn't want to then that's fine and you have to respect that decision....
