i think he does like me, but i'm not sure. what kind of signs do i look for?

u know u can always tell if there showing it.smiling waving that kind of thing.if ur best guy friend then jest ask him out hes ur best friend so even getting declined then ur still freinds.the only way u have a best guy freind is liking him and he liking u back so go for it girl!goodluck!

It would depend on the guy. Some guys mess around with girls as a sign that they will notice them. Other guys would try to avoid you because they are shy. I would probably say try to talk to him and ask him questions about what he likes in a girl and if he likes anyone.

Pretend you have a boyfriend and study his reactions. I've been in the same situation with my best girl friend.
