I am looking for a very good car alarm for my 1992 Civic Hatchback. I have recently fixed it and I'm worried about it getting stolen, tampered with, etc. I have seen many types of system and want to see others opinions. Cost is no object.

I am partial to Code Alarm but if it's tracking you want look in to a lojacks system.

I have Viper its pretty good.I have 1997 civic hatchback. My car was broken in 4 times already in last two years. One month it happened twice, all my **** got stolen. I had civic 1994 before it got jacked and I found only frame later. So my apoint is these cars are pretty easy to get in to and drive away, some alarms are pretty easy to disable too. Now I am just a bit more careful ,I dont buy anything expensive for it except nice CD Player.

the absolute best is a big dog with lots of teeth and an attitude, the electrical stuff, I couldn't tell you. I do know though, that for every counter measure you take, there is a known countermeasure for it (thirty years in the military) by those who make it their business to know this stuff.
