I have been trying to remove finale 2007 from my computer and reinstall it because it is not working correctly. I use the uninstall or change program option. It uninstalls but I need everything off. Because when I reinstall it It doesnt ask for serial or activation info. I believe this is the heart of the problem I am having with the program. I have also used a register cleaner "winutilities" to clean all regester information. Still cant get it to completely uninstall. There is an option in Finale that allows you to deathorize the computer, but it will not go through. How can I find and get rid of every componant of this program?

This is the method I use to completely remove a program and all file folders etc. that belong to It.
First see if It has It's own uninstaller,Start,All Programs,find It and check,If not go to add and remove programs,remove from there.
Then go to search,Start,search.
Type in name of program,under all files and folders choice.
Delete any thing that shows up there.
Sometimes not all will Delete from there So.
Go to Program files and find the program folder,open It and Delete away.
Go back to Program files and Delete the Empty folder.
Go to recycle and empty.
I've had to use this way on occasion to redownload a Program,but It also Keeps your c:\ Drive clean of old unused files.
You might want to run your registry cleaner after,but then go ahead and redownload successfully.
P.S make sure nothing else might be blocking it,firewall etc.

You have removed it from program files, thus You need to re-install it and then go to add/remove programs in the control panel.
