Free speech is fine, but when it contains pornographic comments, hate, viciousness, and the like, intelligent beings weigh the good of 'free speech' against the need to provide a place where teens, pre-teens, and the like can come in peace, without their parents fearing they are being subjected to the stupidity that many of those posting here consider amusing.

It is my understanding that Yahoo Answers is meant to be a place where one can ask a question and expect to get an answer. It is not a place meant to be a personal soap box for every stupid idea you might come up with. Read, if indeed you can read, the statements you signed when you signed up for this service and quit putting your self centered, nonsensical comments on here to take up space which could be used for its intended purpose.

A statement disguised as a question is still a statement and not a question.

Yahoo is for Yahoo.

It's a business, so it can do pretty much whatever it pleases.

Protection of freedom of speech is in the U.S. Constitution, but not in most corporate charters.
