i am looking for honest answers here, not seeking to offend or cause any arguments!

the majority of "good christians" i have come across tell me that if i repent my sins before i die, i will be let into heaven. but, what if right before my death i accidentally kill someone (say i stumble and in trying to stop myself i accidentally push them into traffic) and dont have time to repent because suddenly my head is smashed open with a rock or something? do i go to hell even though the rest of my life i have been a good christian and repented my sins? or is there some sort of "what if" clause that i dont know about?

GOOD NEWS DUDE!
I prayed for you man :)
And good news for you if you feel like reading some happy info!

So it seems like you think going to heaven or hell depends on the actions made throughout someone's lifetime. Don't you know that everyone sins, and than there are some sins that everyone doesn't have time to repent of specifically? No one is perfect. I love and believe in Jesus, but I sin tons every single day. Christians sin just like non-Christians. Stop worrying about that. I'm not going to magically stop sinning and neither are you. Stop beating yourself up over that. If you stub your foot and say holy **** and then die from a meteor you aren't going to hell if you accept Jesus Christ as your savior.
Stop telling yourself you need to completely stop sinning in order for Jesus to love you, that is just flat out not true dude!

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39)

God will forgive you for everything you do if and only if you accept him as your savior. Don't get all sad about that, it honestly takes one and a half minutes lol.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (Jon 3:16)

If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and receive forgiveness from God, here is prayer you can pray. Saying this prayer or any other prayer will not save you. It is only trusting in Jesus Christ that can provide forgiveness of sins. This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing for your forgiveness. "God, I know that I have sinned against You and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I place my trust in You for salvation. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness! Amen!"

So seriously no one is perfect, don't make yourself depressed. You're not going to "magically stop sinning". You can pray to a God (Jesus Christ) who loves you unconditionally whenever you want to, and he will always listen carefully.
