Why are women attracted to men?

Seriously, not many men can "stop traffic" so to speak, by their looks alone. However, it's an easy task for an 'above average' woman to do this. In fact, women check other women out more than men. Most men look the same, not too ugly, not too great looking. One man can be considered attractive (physically) by one woman but considered ugly by another, whereas women are either "hot" or "not" for the most part. So, I ask you, why are women attracted to men??? Physically?

Women also seem to have such a variance in judging a man's character/personality as well. Example: Girl 1: "He's soooo, like, sweet!"
Girl 2: "What a jack***."
Also, I think women frequently, if not the majority of the time, go for the wrong guys. What does this say about "looking at the whole picture?" or intuition?

Physical attraction is only the first part of why women are attracted to men. After that, its either personality or even in some cases we don't know what it is - we're just aware of the attraction! Example is a guy my daughter went out with, a fairly average looking type who just makes all the girls melt at the knees (me included!) and yet, he's nothing special to look at. Mysterious.... isn't it?

Whether the men rule the traffic or not, sexy or not, women stil get attracted to them. Why? because women see men as the answer to their needs - social, emotional, and yes, physical. Women need to feel loved by the opposite sex. Even if the man makes the motorists go in high speed for fear of his face (hehehe), the woman would search for the positive points in him (like his good character) and still fall for him.

When you say that it's Physically, most of the girls at a first glance would go for a Hunk, cute, etc, but we girls see into your interior very easily, so when we get to know you, we see you beautiful in the outside even though the other girls may not agree. Be thankful beacuse we love you inside and out. We rock!!!

i think its because women are a lot more intuitive and notice more than guys. i have no problem admitting it either, to guys, girls are either hot or not because we base a lot of what we think off looks and off of a few specific things, face, butt, boobs, hair, legs while girls notice how a guy acts, walks, and carries himself, they also notice different areas of men then men notice of women. all in all i think women just take in the whole picture of men and are not necesscarily basing their decision off looks thats why not all girls find the same guys attractive.

hmm, that's true, women are the better looking gender LOL jk, maybe. but, it's like how men are attracted to women, it's the same thing. ur a guy, right, so u probably wouldn't understand. also, it has to be that way, or the species wouldn't survive.

The real reason that women are attracted to men is because women in general are materialistic gold diggers. They size a man's wallet up by how well he dresses. Now, there may be exceptions but as of yet I havent really found any.

alot of guyz judge women by their breast size not looks. A man should judge the're lady friend by the act of that person. Thats y we see alot of couples fight n break up.

Surely you know that different women are attracted to different types of men. Men are more often attracted by looks only. Women tend to assess the whole package.
