There is this boy at my youth group. We had a relationship for 4 years. (6th through 9th grade). We broke it off because we were going to different highschools. He got a girlfriend at his school. However, lately he has been acting different around me. I'll see him for the first time and he will come up and hug me and start a conversation, and always finds a way to talk to me. And I always feel like he is watching me when he is around. I went on a church retreat, and he was there (his gf wasn't) and whatever activity I was doing, he always seemed to be near. He is always so encouraging and uplifting, and I love being around him, but do you think he still has feelings for me? Or do you think he is just offering his friendship? Thats really what I want.
And just to let you know how serious we were before, he asked me to marry him twice. Obviously, I told him no because I was 14 at the time (Now we are both 15.. still wayy to young) and I think he was just overly infatuated.

If you only want him as a friend, say nothing. Keep enjoying his uplifting company. If he then says something that obviously shows he wants you back, then let him know how you feel.

mm maybe he is trying to get bakk with u or he has been wit you soo long that he feels comfortable around u and like being around you and likes you as like a best friend since u guys were in a four year relationship
