I think the other ppls answers are a little harsh. I understand how you could be hurt by this. If you are in a serious relationship then there are mutual things that should be discussed. I think something like this, you should have at least been told about. I would probably be hurt, and very confused as to why he wouldnt want to talk about something so important with someone so important to him.
