I use a coffee scoop in my 4 cup coffee maker. The scoop is an 1/8Th of a cup, I use just one scoop.

So that's 2 Tablespoons. Cause 1/4 cup = 4 Tablespoons

Put one heaping tablespoon of coffee per cup that you want to make. This is for mug size not a teacup. Also, for a cut down on the acid put in a tiny pinch of salt into the grounds before you brew it. Emphasis on tiny.

Well it depends if you like it really strong. If you do you should add five tablespoons for four cups. It will really get you thought the day. Plus it tastes awesome!!

I put 4 tablespoons for my 12 cup pot ........... so you can try 1 - 2 Tbl. depending on the strength you like.

around 2 quite big...
on the filter there must be a small mountain of coffee powder, it doesn't matter if some of it will fall down when you close it.
