Many people who do terrible things believe they're doing right. Certainly some terrorists believe they are doing the will of God, just like some of those who murder doctors who work at planned parenthood clinics believe they are doing the will of God. Your question is a good one, because in order to do evil, you have to KNOW you're doing evil. You have to have consciously chosen to perform an evil act. If you dont believe it's evil, then you're not evil. It requires intent.

They believe what they are doing is right because mullahs with an agenda tell them it's islamic. However, Islam says those who shed the blood of innocent PEOPLE are among the first to be judged and thrown into the hellfire. God does not base ONLY on religious beliefs, but on how you are in life. If you are a basically good person who does their best to be a good person, heaven. If you also save lives, you are automatically in heaven.

They believe that they are going to heaven, especially in Islam that they will have like 33 virgins or something.. I don't know. I don't really believe in heaven and hell- I don't think people should go to hell for having different beliefs but I believe that they are doing something wrong/evil by killing people..

No, they're not just evil. They do believe that what they're doing is right, their crime is having tremendous faith. They don't have any more or less evidence for their religion than you have for yours, the only difference is that they believe their religion requires them to kill people.
And they're not going to hell, they'll rot in the ground like everyone else. Well, if the cops can find all the pieces.

No. There is no such thing as hell.....BUT they do end their ability to make a difference in this world.
What is hell to you? To burn in a lake of fire forever? Or to waste the gift of life in a futile attempt to change the world by committing suicide/murder? There are no "take backs" when you strap explosives around yourself........just game (life) over.

A terrorist to you is a patriot to someone else. For example, Bush is probably considered a terrorist to many Iraqi's just as Osama is considered a terrorist to us. Yet a lot of Americans would never classify him as that. So it's all a point of prespective...however, he who has sinned shall go to hell. And no, nobody should go to hell for having different beleifs, I believe we will go to hell if we do good whether we're Christians, Muslims, Jews, and whatever else! God bless :-)

Lol, Jimmy, so what about American soldiers?
So if they kill to follow orders and perhaps do not believe in the purpose then they are right? And the people who kill because it's what they believe in are wrong?
Things are never white or black, it's all varying shades of grey.
All you thumbs down people need to open your minds. If the situation were reversed and Iraqi soldiers were here in America, wouldn't you fight them? That said I still support our troops, but I don't support the government who put them there.
