Hey! I'm a 17 yr old guy and I personally want to save myself for my sweetheart. Most of my friends want to join a fraternity, drink beligerantly, and have random sex... and I def. want to join a fraternity, party, and have fun. But I really want to save myself for someone very special to me. Its not meaningful, enjoyable, or intimate if it happens after a fraternity party with some drunk chick. I look forward to telling my wife I saved myself just for her and cared for her years before I even met her.
I think my wife-to-be would appreciate it if I didn't have sex with a lot of girls before her because I know I would want my future wife to limit her pre-marital experience.
So with that said, are there any girls that feel similarly and want to save themselves for they husbands?

i think that is the sweetest thing any guy could do. any yes i would want to save myself for my husband.. but my advice to you is to do the things you want to do, and don't do the things that you don't want to do. don't let people pressure you into doing things you don't want to do.

I'm saving myself until I'm in love. When you think about it, marriage is just paper, just a set of documents that legally binds the two people. But you don't need to be married to be in love. The love is what counts, love is what really binds people together. And if one day that love fades and the guy leaves then it'll suck, and I'll cry and mope for a while but I'll know that the feeling was real and I don't need a legal document to tell me that.
But I would prefer if my partner did the same. It does make it more special to know they think of sex as a way of showing love, not as a way to have fun. That way you know that it means something special to them too.

No, I didn't and I find that sort of thinking a turn off. I think that it's important to experience your sexuality and experiment before deciding to commit. I think that saving yourself isn't a sign of caring, but reflects a lack of personal understanding and experience as well as a rather skewed veiw of human sexuality. Of course, this is just me, there are women and men who do 'save themselves'. Personally, I wouldn't go for it and wouldn't date a man who didn't want sex for very long or at least exclusively.

yay!!! someone that feels the same way I feel. I really, quite frankly, don't want to marry a guy that has slept with like 80 girls.... I want my first time to be so wonderful... with the person that is always gonna be there........ the person I can share everything else with...... the person that will love me no matter what... right on, dude!!! you rock!!! there needs to be more people like you in the world.

good for you but most girls are just out of control now so its not wrong but dont let aome of the girls know it will just cause trouble and they will tease you and the bad ones will want you to go be like them and try to hook you up with some loser just tell them you have a b/f from somewhere else.

you are such a special kind of guy i mean that in a good way.
anyways i think what you are doing is good, and if your friends are pressuring you to have sex don't listen to them, because the things they are doing now, they are going to regret when or if they get married.anyways i wish i could meet somebody like you. :)

I feel the same way, so trust me you aren't the only one. Women would actually love to hear that a guy isnt just out to sleep with her, so I think that is very cool.

Sure, there are a few women who save their virginity for
marriage and even fewer men who save their virginity.
