I started going gray at 23 and have been dying my hair religiously for the last 12 years because of it...and will til I'm too old to care anymore.
btw, it isn't about being old, its what we inherit. Just feel positive about the good things you've inherited (and modify the rest...like the hair)

yes, hereditary . my hubby is 28 and going salt and pepper, which i love anyway!
i have a natural white spot of hair in the front, NOT albino, but just a natural highlight and by the time i am 40 i will be all white, so hey go with it!!!
someone will love you for who you are, not what you look like, and i married a guy that loves me for both! I am sooo lucky

Yeah, look at poor Taylor Hicks! You can also get it from stress, I have seen an 11 year old with a grey hair!

I got my first one at 22. Woke up one morning in my college dorm and looked in the mirror. The first one always freaks you out. Because you don't know the rate that the others will come. But relax, it's unlikely that you're gonna have the Leslie Nielson look.

Heredity. It's all in your DNA. Hopefully you marry/married a guy who doesn't go gray for a while so your kids have a chance. Really sorry. :)
