To me it sounds like your blood pressure dropped and your sugar. Try eating a little more chocolate or something with sugar in it. I have been through this before and that is all it took for me.
your lightheadedness could also be vertigo
Vertigo is a feeling that you or your surroundings are moving when there is no actual movement. You may feel as though you are spinning, whirling, falling, or tilting. When you have severe vertigo, you may feel very nauseated or vomit. You may have trouble walking or standing, and you may lose your balance and fall. check this website for more info

If that was the only symptom- you better be checked by a doctor...possibly some blood drawn and put through a series of tests...it is a sign from your body. Ususally you get dizzy like that when your blood isn't circulating properly (blood clot, your brain not getting enough flow) .... if you were sweating or have a fever you could have been having a hot flash. I had this happen when I was 18 and 25! I found out both times I was pregnant.

Call your doctor for sure. This could be something very serious or very simple and I (or anyone else on Yahoo! Answers, for this reason) am not qualified to diagnose your condition. But just a shot: both anemia and low blood sugar can cause fainting (what you experienced). When was the last time you ate before going to bed? and what did you eat?

Well, I am not a lisence doctor, but here is my theoretical diagnosis. When you stand up after sitting for long periods of time, you blood slows in circulation. At the point when you stand up, you blood pressure drops. This is when you get light headed. Now, for you, this is delayed due to a honey like blood texture. AS your blood slowly droops to thee ends of your feet, your body says to it self, " Oh ****! We are losing blood everywhere above the waistline!!" Rapid blood loss can lead to a condition called shock. This is when the body must borrow blood from other body parts in order to maintain blood in your vital organs(heart, lungs, liver, brain, that area) Your body is think you are losing blood so it goes into temparary shock. Now this is when you body says, " QUICK! Shake this *****!!! We are losing her!!LOL" Now, at the moment when your bidy realizes that your mind is playing tricks on you and you're not really losing blood, it regains it regular blood pressure and all is rosey again!! Well, I hope I could answer your question. I tried my best. Peace.

Sounds like you had a seizure, but I could be wrong. You should really see a doctor, or go to the hospital to make sure you are okay.
