like all my family are great drawers, my dad went to drawing course in college way back...why? i don't know maybe its b/c i'm asain lol..you just need to see outside of the drawing, see the geometry and location , visualize.
other than drawing with instrument, i frequently use AutoCad b/c i'm majoring in architecture. have to say its nothing different than drawing on paper, but much more powerful and accurate. designing buildings are impossible i think on white paper even with rulers b/c theres a lot of details you have to show.
theres most ppl who try to draw but looks like drunk-drawing, as that girl said ts usually heredity from family but that shouldn't stop you or anyone else.

people say i draw good, i won 'sight is beautiful'! yeah! its a thing that grows into the parent,child,childs child and so on!
