ok i had just come home from work and i was going down to the basement because that's where i have my clean clothes- i stunk so i got naked from my waist down and i was washing my hands in the kitchen before going to change-my sister threw a fit and told me to put some clothes on and i told i will in just a mintue but while i was getting ready to go down stairs she stopped the conversation and said "you know if you weren't running around naked i could talk to you" and she compared me to a person that exposes herself on the streets- i got mad becasue i told her i would go put some new clothes on in just a minute and the fact that she compared me to an exposer got me more upset-she is a hypocrite i feel because her butt crack is half way out and she still sits on the computer showing her butt crack after i have said something to her about it-so.........who is out of line here?

Wow, so many people who think it's wrong to be naked in front of family (and not extended family either, but just sister or parents)! This surprises me I must say... we never cared at my home, it was just my parents and me but we never locked the bathroom door for showers or bath either, when we all had to get up at the same time we'd be in and out to the sink, the shower, and not a single inappropriate thought ever came up. Then, I do live in Europe where non-sexual nudity is much more common, non-sexual nudity (like someone stepping out of a shower) is even occasionally shown at prime-time. We all know what bodies look like, it's just no big deal.

You don't want her butt crack exposed, but you're standing there completely naked from the waist down? Your sis has a lot more to complain about than you do!

I believe if someone is in the comfort of their own home they should wear, or not wear, whatever they want. However if people are sharing a place with others, they should be aware that some things they may or may not wear may make the other occupants of the house uncomfortable. If this is the case wear or dont wear whatever you want in your own space ie your bedroom. If you really do want to wear no top make other people in the house aware of your choice so they can go to another room or avert their eyes if they dont want to see you.

I have an extra life and some extra problems. I will be mailing the life to you so you can have one. I will ship the problems to you so you will actually have a real problem to worry about!

Yes. You are wrong. Don't walk around the house naked when other people are there. that is common sense, respectful behavior.

Wow....... simply put..... wow.......

First of all, neither one of you is "in the wrong". Walking around naked in your house is perfectly fine. Being bothered by someone walking around naked is fine. The next time this happens, do what I do, explain to the person that it makes you feel comfortable walking around in nothing or simply wait for the person to leave. Tell her that if it bothers her, that she can wait outside. But also be considerate to her. If you know it bothers her try not to do it.

Why didn't you grab your clean clothes and go to the bathroom to wash your hands and clean up in there? It would gross me out if i saw my sister like that. If it was a guy it would be a different story.

well its your home, and if you dont have children then i dont see a problem with walking around naked
your sister probably is jealous like they said, but she was already in a bad mood when she freaked out and seeing your body just made her flip out even more

Seriously? You guys are family, who cares if you see each other naked. She is probably just insecure or a nag.
