Hello blueharbor22,

Mac OS X has the software, Grab for capture, located in Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities/Grab.app

The Mac OS X has built-in screen capture feature though. There the built-in kind by pressing the Command (the Apple key) + Shift + 3 to capture the whole screen. Each time you press Command + Shift + 3, your Mac will shoot the screen shot (making a camera clicking sound) and save another screen shot but will increase the number progressively in the name.

You can capture just a small section by hitting the Command + Shift + 4 which turns the mouse arrow into a target that you can drag the area that you want to capture.

Tiger's version of Preview has a built-in slide show too. Group-select all of those screen captures that you created (drag a rectangle over all of the graphics files). Next you double-click on one of the files so that it will view the first picture with the whole list of thumbnail pictures shown in the side bar.

Now go up to the View > Slideshow menu command. and it will show the whole group of captures in a slideshow presentation. It may not be all that fancy but it's free.

There are also all sorts of downloads where you might find something that will work for you. Check out Version Tracker:

Best of luck to you.

I'm not sure how to do that but a good cheap screen-recorder is iShowU for $20. This app captures footage of you Mac's screen as well as any audio playing as a QuickTime movie.

i want to advise Bandicam. It has 2 modes - one for recording your laptop and laptop purposes including Photoshop, and yet another mode for recording complete video reveal courses like video games.
