It's a very fine line we walk, isn't it?

Giving "love" is something that I hope I live during every moment of my life - I know that I can do a good job of it when it comes to my children and my grandchildren, ( or any child for that matter)... I even try to keep up a better than good record when it comes to loving my ex-wife.

The tough spots are obviously in those situations where I want to achieve a specific goal from my actions; when I buy a product and it isn't a good one... when I have something I want to sell and I need the money - these are the times that I sometimes feel like a common whore.

Expecting something in return for ones giving, I'm hopeful, isn't always a bad thing. Expections of something specific, however, might be.

I do my best. Do you?

Love is not something that can be given with strings or expectations. Love is a gift. That's why we cannot earn salvation. Earning is not in the realm of love.

There's no need to be paid back. It's never a loan, it's a gift. My cup runs over.

Given freely. To much who is given, much is expected, yes?

Please explain how "love" is loaned. Anyone one expecting a payback for their show of so-called love, is grandiose and self-centered.

Either you give it freely, or you're a conniving hypocrite.
