Take her to the vet in the morning or call the emergency vet number. They will likely work with you on a payment plan, or just ask them to bill you. It's too dangerous to let go.

This would be a great time to call friends, relatives and people who owe you favors. Depending on what's wrong with your dog, she may not have a week to wait.
Small breed dogs can actually die from dehydration in a couple of days even if the original problem that caused the dehydration was not serious. If she ate something toxic, she could be dead within the hour.

You can try giving her some unflavored pedialyte (in the baby section of the grocery store. This won't hurt her, but will probably not be enough to help her- especially if she is gagging/vomiting.

the undertaking along with her is that she is ill and desires to be considered by way of a vet! in the journey that your widely used vet won't see her, take her to the closest Vet 24 hour pressing care. A canine that's ill will look very down and could sleep a lot, do not rigidity nutrients on her in case she has a blockage someplace, keep attempting to get her to take fluids yet do not rigidity her. A canine as tiny as a Yorkie gets dehydrated very rapidly, she desires fluids. ETA i'm so happy you have been waiting to get her in to be certain the vet, asserting they don't know what's misguided isn't constantly the worst information you ought to get! If it replaced into some thing rather existence threatening, it could have been greater obtrusive. additionally giving her a drip isn't the worst factor that should ensue, if she is dehydrated the fluids in the IV will perk her up and he or she could experience nicely sufficient to start eating and ingesting. Dehydration could reason nausea, so if she stopped eating on an identical time as ill then grew to grow to be listless from dehydration this possibly all she desires to come back heading in the right direction. i'm hoping all is going nicely at your appointment and he or she feels greater effectual, so which you will experience greater effectual too!

call the humane society if you cant get her to a vet asap. relinquish her so she can recieve proper care.
it isnt your dogs fault that she is unsupervised outside. its the owners. please borrow, pawn something (not a hard question, is your dogs life less valuable than you quick cash assets??), or call other vets for prices. perhaps you can arrange a payment plan.
in most states there is a payday advance outlet. there HAS to be one near you.
if you dont your dog very well may die. poor animal. i have vpi vet insurance on an iguana, i get reimbursed 80% of the vet costs (including emergencies) within 15 days.
hopefully you prepare for your 4 legged FAMILY member better presuming she/he survives this. please be RESPONSIBLE and prepare for emergencies.
please dont allow your animals to suffer untill you can get to a vet next week. would YOU want to suffer the same for a week?
sorry to be blunt but animals cant speak so someone has to be a voice.
i pray you animal is okay.

Afford or not, you need to get your dog to the vet right now. I am sure your vet would be willing to take payments. If she is gagging and can't eat or drink, she will dehydrated quickly and could die.

if the dog is gagging and cant eat or drink you may not have a choice about the vet. something may be lodged in the dogs throat and it might cause it to stop breathing. you need to have the dog checked and i mean asap. this wont wait till you get money. good luck and i hope that you are able to save your dog

Check her teeth and make sure she has nothing in her mouth that is stuck. You can try kaopectate to coat her stomach but no Pepto. Look out doors and make sure you do not see any thing in the yard out of the norm, make sure you do not have any leaks under your car that she could lick up. I wish I could do more for you! I would call a vet clinic in your area and see if they will talk with you. Tell them that money is tight and ask if you can pay it out. I'll say a prayer for your dog and you.

This sounds very serious. Find a way to take her to the vet now. They sometimes have payment plans and some vets will let you write a post-dated check.

Yeah you have to make sure that she doesn't get dehydrated. She can go without food for a few days, but can't go without water at all.
If you think that she ate something outside that is stuck in her throat, give her a little butter, that usually gets rid of something that is making them clear their throat. If it's more than that, you should take her to the vet.

Look down her throat for an obstruction. If there is nothing you can see, she could have a blockage somewhere that needs immediate removal. Many pets die from obstructions and it could be a life or death situation. If there is something you can see pull it out carefully.
