Alright, so my neighbor is this ex-military guy, and he never takes his Jack-o-lanterns down after Halloween. It's the beginning of spring, and I finally decide to do something about it. I snuck over to his house and tried to throw away the mushed-up pumpkins when he comes out and shoots me in the leg. My girlfriend says I deserved it for trespassing. Should I break up with her?

Sorry for saying this, but that is just about the funniest thing I've ever heard of. Although it is almost april and the pumpkins are probably all moldy by now, you still should not have went into the neighbors yard.. You're girlfriend should be more worried about your leg than the fact that you went into their yard, but the question I have for you is why do you care? It's their yard they can have anything they want in it. I drive by houses that have christmas lights on them in May. I don't go in their yard and take them down. Your girlfriend has a point and I don't think that you should break up with her.. By the way how is your leg? take care

No, she's being truthful and telling you her honest feelings. If they really were your girlfriend then they would tell you the truth, not just a lie to make you feel better. Hence, she did the right thing. Would you want a girlfriend who lies to you just to make you feel better? Probably not, so basically breaking up with her would be sort of stupid... since that's not really a reason to break up anyway...

I think the right answer would get me into trouble so I think I'll just say..... You have every right to shoot the Jack-o-lanterns!
