Nope, stay home. Make a sandwich, watch some late-nite TV. Call your Mom or Dad or a best friend. Don't even THINK of talking to her for a few days.
It's really rough right now, but it gets better. Have a good cry, but leave her alone for a little while. At least wait until the sun comes up tomorrow.

Getting told by email is pretty hard. It depends how much you want closure.
I know that only 10 minutes after you get this news, it is very hard, and the world looks very black. Just hang in there - whether you get back together again or not, I belive all things are for a reason, and often we only see that when we look back from the future.
I suggest you try to contact her and find out why - maybe she has mis-judged something, or has some wrong information. Even if she gives a reason in the email, that would be a worthwhile thing to do.
But in all this - just hang in there. Tomorrow will be better than today, and the day after will be better again.

If she ended your relationship over EMAIL that is the coward's way out!!!! You definitely need to eliminate her--but you may want to be the mature one here and call her--if she does not answer you back or want to talk to you--then you can rest knowing that YOU tried. There is nothing else you can do. Then you can begin to heal from this. If she never gives the reason for breaking up with you you could ponder FOREVER and that is wasting your time. I would try ONCE to see why and then move on to someone who will actually treat you like gold. Good luck!!

This sucks. Trying to read between the lines as to why, it sounds like there is someone else in the picture. For some reason she has apparently been unable to stay faithful. If she can't keep on track through an engagement, how can she be expected to stick through thick and thin. Don't let her drag you down the drain with her. Back off for three days. After that, if you want to talk to her, go ahead.
Whatever you do, be strong. The easy thing to do is fly off the handle. Ironically, if you have the strength to walk away you have a chance to get her back in addition to keeping your dignity. As I see it, she screwed up. She's going to have to show a good reason for you to trust her enough to take her back. If you have some stable and wise friends or family, call them to keep you company. Also ironically, you'll need to stay away from alcohol and most non-prescription drugs. You were strong enough to reach out for help. Keep using that strength and you'll get through this. If you need to talk I can be reached at 512-576-4983.

Call her. Give her and give yourself a chance to talk. Then give yourself a chance to calm, to sleep, to eat. Let yourself be confused, sad, angry. It's okay. Stop yourself if your anger seems to be reaching a point of violence. Call a friend, or your mom, or a trusted acquaintance, someone you can talk to. Your life is not over, but yes, it'll feel that way for a while. Maybe quite a while.

No eliminating anyone. Your ex is a coward and a cheat. You are lucky to be rid of her now rather than later. Any non-violent way you handle it will be better than what she did to you. Move on, they're are plenty of fish in the sea.

You might need to call her to determine if the email was for real or someone's practical joke. If it is for real, just move on and don't look back. It was pretty cold of her to do it in an email, but leave her alone.

Ok, calm down. Think about it. If you do anything to hurt her physically or if you hurt anyone else then you go to jail. You dont pass go and you dont collect $200.00. Now if the ***** has so little respect for you that she breaks up with you by e-mail then screw her which is to say to hell with her. You dont need her. Go out and find yourself a better woman. Its that simple.

First you nee to call a friend that you can really depend on to be level headed and talk to them before you even try speaking with her. She may be crying out for attention from you. Do not jump to conclusions. I have done things like this to my ex to see if he would fight for our relationship, woman have a tendency to test mens love for them.

That's a tough one! She broke up with you in an e-mail? Before you make any decisions reevaluate what you saw in someone so coldhearted. If she could do that now just think what she'd have done later!
