NOTE! NONE OF MY QUESTIONS REGARDING RELIGION ARE INTENDED TO START ARGUEMENTS! I WANT GENUINE HONEST OPINIONS! AND NO BLASTING ME, BECAUSE I REALLY AM CURIOUS HOW MANY DIFFERANT VEIWS THERE ARE!
the old testament has some pretty wicked stuff in it. why is it preached that things like tattoos are sins still even though the new testament doesnt say that its not? there is also stuff in the old testament that is decidedly grusome but you never hear anyone preaching it as a way of life....even though the new testament doesnt revoke any of it or whatever, at least some bits of it. how are bits of religion just glossed over like that?

my question is that there are bits in the old testament that werent revised to be more relevant in the new testament, but we dont preach them still as they were in the old testament.

I don't think it's fair at all. But then again in my religion we don't follow the Bible....
