What type of frog? If it was a toad, it can be lethal. Bufo toxin is highly poisonous, specially if she swallowed the whole thing! not to mention it can get secreted in the milk and kill the puppies as well. Foaming at the mouth is one of the clinical signs of poisoning.

I would call your ER vet ASAP.

Sounds like it was a toad, not a frog. Toads have a mild poison in their skin that makes dogs foam at the mouth, but it doesn't seriously hurt the adults.

Yet, if she swallowed the whole thing it could enter her breast milk and you should contact your vet to see what he or she suggests.

She'll be fine...if she does it again, just wash her mouth out. It shouldn't affect the puppies. She probably just licked it.
