Rat-tail is a very cool hairstyle! You can't say it is not attractive. More and more people have a rattail. Even you will have your own rattail!

To be completely honest, they make you look very hick. Most girls will not find them attractive, but it's about what type of girl you're trying to attract. Dying the tip is a little rediculous. Rat tails rank up there with mullets. Just don't do it.

whoever told you girls find rat tails attractive was playing a mean, very cruel joke. rat tails should be avoided at all cost.
bleaching the end of the rat tail does not disguise the fact that you have one. just do yourself a favor and chop it off.

Like everyone else has said, no girl finds them attractive. Dont dye your rat tail, just cut it off. Its dirty looking and does nothing for your style. Try something else.

A lot of people see them in the same light as mullets- belonging to hicks. However, if your normal hair is longer than some of todays styles, and you take care of it properly, I see no problem. A good friend of mine has one that goes a bit past mid-back, and the rest of his hair is almost to his shoulders. However, I advise against bleaching the end.

i personaly find rat tails to look, well...trailer trash. i think it looks odd. but really it depends on what you like, what you feel comfortable in. but i think it would be safe for me to say that all of my girlfriends dislike rat tails.
