How do I get an Excel web page to change dates and recalculate?

I built an Excel sheet with a calendar object for changing dates in a cell. Works okay but when I save as a web page it no longer works. Need a way to change dates and recalc in a web environment.

web environment limits lots of excel options, I'd drop it back into excel to manipulate data.
