A breed could be an 'grownup' whilst it has grownup tooth, is able to reproduce appropriate, and is not becoming. For a small breed that's at approximately 18 months, and great breeds, not till they are approximately 3 years old. canines are seen seniors in the final 25% of their lives. case in point, if the canines's life expectancy is 12-15 years than that's a senior between 9-eleven years.

It's 12 months, but some behave like puppies for a lot longer and need to be treated that way.

oh wow, im surprised so many people say 2 years old.
I definitely say well before 1 year, especially since its around then that it's recommended to neuter a dog... but i know it's recommended at a younger age for bigger dogs, cause it gets more difficult/expensive, the bigger a dog is...

and most dogs are full-grown by the age of 1yr

a puppy is considered a dog when he turns 1 year old. ask any vet....it's important to know this so that you're not feeding puppy food to a fully grown adult dog, or you're not feeding adult food to a still-growing puppy.

At the end of the first season, then it becomes a juvenile. Don't forget, you are the pack leader. The pup takes it's cues from you.
