Most of the issues are going to be upgrading an older computer to vista, because the hardware may not have vista compatible drivers yet.....If your buying a new pc with vista, odds are it has all the latest drivers.....You will be able to brag to your friends then cry when they leave, because there are still programs waiting to be written for vista.....but you always have yahoo answers to turn to for help! Not to mention when I decide to upgrade you will already be a vista expert, so ill have some help! lol

Windows Vista promises improvements in system security.

For example, Windows Vista has this newly implemented control for making system changes. Now, whenever you wish to make any system chanegs (such as in the Control Panel), you would have to manually click on a dialogue box prompting you to confirm your actions. This is to prevent spyware or other malware from automatically installing themselves onto the computer, but it is worth noting that it is not a foolproof way to enhance security.

Windows Vista also features better child protection features. There is now a stronger parental control system in Vista, and the system can now detect game ratings (for instance, from the ESRB) and allow parents to set rating limits for their children (for instance, parents can ban their children from playing games rated for ages 18 and up).

Windows Vista also features a function that allows parents to lock their children out of the computer system at certain hours of a day, making it useful in helping parents curb computer, internet and/or gaming addiction.

>The most positive thing I know of is that it isn't selling very well. Perhaps somebody at MS will consider making a real operating system.<
