You can order them through Drs. Foster & Smith or 1-800-petmeds to get them cheaper. Frontline and Revolution are the best from our experience but Advantage is a great one as well. Dr.Foster & Smith have a cheaper version as well that works just as good. Bio spot is around $25 for a 6 month and sometimes comes with a 3 month free. They also have one caled Program that cost around $30 to $35 and Cutter that runs around $6 for a 3 pack.
1800petmeds has cheaper ones as well that work great.

Frontline, especially if your dog is exposed to ticks as well as fleas. Some vets will break up a box of frontline and let you buy a single vial. If you can find one who does that, it might be about $15 a month which isn't bad if you can buy one month at a time.

We use Frontline Plus for our pup. It kills fleas, flea eggs, ticks & chewing lice. It costs us $42 before sales tax for 3 applications. It's kind of pricey, but it really works!!!

Frontline is worth it and it is typically only alittle more money. Advantix gives ticks the"hotfoot" so to speak before it kills them so they drop off in your house and can be found crawling on you or your furniture! yuck! I used to use it. When they fall from Frontline they will be dead. Ticks are hardy parasites and can carry Lyme disease in several states so use quality product and vaccinate against lyme disease as advised by your vet.
