The pastor of my church said How do you life for the King which is Jesus?

Watch your treasure.

Watch where you escape and why.

Watch your life.

I have been a Christians over 20 years and this was never told to me in this way for what I would like to know is How can I further the kindgom of God ? The pastor says we dont seek the kindgom of God because quite frankly we think our kindgoms we build our lives around are doing just fine.

How can I live more for Jesus and less for the world in my every day life with the sermon that was given just recently?

Good for you! Self assessment goes along way in living for Jesus. Do we value the things Christ values? (treasure) Do we get our "stress relief" in ways and for reasons that glorify Christ? (watch where you escape and why). Does our everyday living exalt the Name of our God or does it exalt ourself? (watch your life). You can further the Kingdom of God by being a child of God (developing the Character of your heavenly Father) and a Prince of the Kingdom (learning to use the authority of the Kingdom in an overcoming, victorious life). Make Christ's priorities your own, always ask yourself if you are exhibiting the values and character of your Lord and Savior and then ask Him to give you opportunities to share your faith. God bless you in your walk with Him.

Be changed in order to change the world. Overcome evil with good.
It is a heart transformation!
I think sometimes people think the more abundant life promised by Jesus is about more stuff.
What it really is, is being completely filled to overflowing with love, and compassion and the desire to reach out to all of God's creation, for all of God's creation.
So how? It is a balance, a fine tuned tension between, being willing to change, and changing what needs to be changed in you in order to be of the greatest use to His kingdom reclamation.
