I have noticed that a lot of women on this website are blaming men for everything, especially on the singles & dating category and marriage & divorce. All I ever see is "men are pigs" ... "men are jerks" ... "men are dumb" ... "men are stupid". Some female users will answer EVERY question with some sort of anti male response.
A man asked a question about his wife, and he caught her cheating. This was an actually answer he received:
"Women are never to blame for their actions, it's always the mans fault. What did you do to drive her to doing this? If you tune into the View, or Oprah or Dr. Phil they will help you modify your behavior to prevent you from causing her to do this."
I don't think it's fair to say it's always the man's fault. In my last relationship I did everything I could to make it work, but she still cheated on me ... with more than one guy. I understand that SOME men are jerks, but not all of them are, and the man hating crap is getting ridiculous.

You're right, not all men are jerks, etc. I married a great guy and I believe that there are a lot of good guys out there. However, (younger) women..most of them are looking for what's on the outside and not what's on the inside. Therefore, it's hard to really say that all the good ones are taken or all guys are jerks when what you're looking for is the entire package. On the flip side, men, (some not all) are looking for the physical fix and not really wanting to invest in the soul of a woman..because "there's always the potential for something better"..There's no such thing as perfect, expectations are sometimes too high on both sides and that's where the problems and name calling gets started.
My husband has his flaws, but we have a mutual respect which is what I asked for early on..everything else that just so happens to work in the marriage is a bonus. Good luck on finding a good girl..one that you wouldn't be embarassed to take home to mom and pops.

You will note that chicks will rant and rave constantly about "jerks" - however when the time comes for another romantic partner - there is about a 99% chance she will once again seek out another controlling, lying, cheating jerk
Seed spreaders had an evolutionary edge for 5 million years and females via their evolutionary baggage are basically hardwired via their DNA to get the big "chemistry" for such males
Of course sometimes chicks do have an in-between/rebound type relationship, usually platonic in nature with an honest and non-cheating "nice guy" who takes them to dinner and the movies to help the chick recover from the last jerk - who then invariably ends up in the dumpster after being told how "really nice and sweet" he really is and that the "chemistry just wasn't there"
Men are jerks partly because that is precisely what chicks want these days

It is very wrong of that person to say it is the mans fault for his wife cheating on him. I have never heard of anything more ridiculous, I think that male or female that behaviour is not acceptable and he or she should have to deal with the consequences.
In any case I am not a man hater at all, I understand the vibe you are getting from the female users of this site. You must understand that there are reasons for these individuals to react in this way, maybe they have been hurt badly had their heart broken...
I know its hard but try to understand, its not right to blame all men for the minority ...But I don't!

Perhaps there are just more women than men on Yahoo Answers that are complaining. In my experience, I have heard the same things from both men and women -- about how they can't understand the opposite sex and how men/women are ALWAYS to blame. It's wrong to generalize although I admit that I have done it because of all the pain I've experienced in past relationships. It's just people venting.

I agree with you but behind every jerk there was a women who made him that way...And probably the next girl or wife was the one who had to unfortunately pay for it....I think that we humans are all ungrateful of what we have at time...Because there are times when we have just the right person by our-side but we act like we don't care about that person...Unfortunately sometimes is too late to go back and fix our mistakes...I have to be honest after my break up with my ex ( a 4years 6 months relationship) I was hurt when he played me with someone who is nothing compared to me( don't mean to sound bad) but anyways after that incident i was one of the females who called men jerks, dogs, etc. But i guess i am other that now and i have to agree as well as there are men out there who play dirty games, there are women too.....

I agree with you! I f I do call a man a jerk I blame women for making them that way. If us women weren't such sluts maybe there would be good men. But instead we'd rather tempt the married men, cheat on the good men, and fall for the bad ones! I'm all with you boy.

Unfortunately for the good guys, there are a lot of jerks out there. There just not as visible. Girls have usually been hurt, dumped, cheated on many times before they find their prince and then sometimes the prince cheats too. Women do the same thing...just not as often.

Oh thats just over generalization. But seriously, I have recentley noticed, of course men are the source of all womens problems ( MEN-opause , MEE-stration,ect.), because they are the source of their own. When I asked why men werent as sentimental to their partners as women were, they answered " Men arent supossed to show their emotions, its a sign of weakness". Now who said that? OTHER men, from my standpoint, men are creatures of ego, not to be proud its just their nature, yet are completley comfortable with thesmleves( heck, you watch each other pee?). They constantley need to prove their manhood, to themselves their friends, and their girl, this causes a lot of things to become misconstrued. Hope this helped, I ramble alot I know.

Did you ever think if we had a life would we be sitting on this pc for hours answering question that may be made up for our entertainment! Another thing for men to be so awful and if we hate them so much why do we all still want one of them?

Amen brotha! Women often fall back into the "it's the guy's fault," when they are often making the mistake. Many women think they are perfect and men need to raise their level.
